Through this initiative, the Cariplo Foundation intends to promote the formation of networks between healthcare ecosystem organizations to improve effectiveness in responding to people's care needs. Multidisciplinary projects aimed at generating and disseminating knowledge on the PASC will be financed and which include the following activities:
• collaborative and inclusive research, developed between large hospitals and minor territorial centers, aimed at the collection and analysis of clinical and epidemiological data;
• development of models / guidelines, including diagnostic-therapeutic and standardized prognosis procedures, practices and tools, capable of facilitating patient management, care and long-term follow-up and that
provide for synergistic actions between different organizations of the health ecosystem;
• dissemination of knowledge and training of operators in the sector including, by way of example, doctors, paediatricians, nurses, physiotherapists and pharmacists.

The call is aimed at organizations of the health ecosystem located in the Foundation's priority area, namely Lombardy and the provinces of Novara and Verbano Cusio Ossola.
Each project must include a minimum mandatory partnership constituted as follows:
• three Territorial Social-Healthcare Companies (ASST) belonging to two or more Lombard Health Protection Agencies (ATS) or
• two Lombard ASSTs and a Piedmontese Local Health Authority (ASL), to be chosen between ASL NO and ASL VCO, or
• a Lombard ASST and the ASL NO and VCO
With the aim of stimulating the establishment of networks and fostering synergies between different actors, the following must necessarily be involved within the projects:
research and care bodies such as, by way of example, universities, IRCCS also organized in networks, pathology and service networks, university hospitals or foundations active in the field of medical research.
