Group leader of the muscle biology lab. The group is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that control skeletal muscle homeostasis in aging and pathological conditions (e.g., cachexia, denervation, and genetic diseases) and to explore therapeutical interventions to preserve mass and functionality of this tissue.
